EUROCAST PRIVACY POLICY

 

Who will process personal data and how to contact them?

EUROCAST sp. z o. o., ul. Wejherowska 9, 84-220 Strzebielino is the Personal Data Controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”). Requests, statements and all correspondence regarding personal data should be made by phone to Data Protection Officer (tel. 601520069), in writing to the following address: Eurocast sp. z o.o., ul. Wejherowska 9, 84-220 Strzebielino, via e-mail to: ido@eurocast.pl.

Data Controller has appointed Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted: electronically at iod@eurocast.pl or in writing at the abovementioned address of the Data Controller’s registered office with the note: Data Protection Officer.

 

Objectives and legal grounds for processing personal data

Providing data is voluntary, but necessary for Eurocast to be able to provide the interested party with an offer or information regarding the services and products of Eurocast or those of other entities.

Personal data is processed:

a) for the purpose indicated in the content of the expressed consent – pursuant to Art. 6, Section 1, letter c of the GDPR,

b) in order to implement the legitimate interests of Eurocast or a third party, such as handling internal processes related to conducting business activities, handling civil, enforcement, administrative and criminal proceedings – pursuant to Art. 6, Section 1, letter f of the GDPR,

c) in order to comply with obligations arising from legal provisions – pursuant to Art. 6, Section 1, letter c of the GDPR.

 

Who will the personal data be transferred to?

1. Personal data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients: entities providing services necessary to implement the above-mentioned purposes for the Data Controller, including IT partners, entities providing technical or organizational support, other subcontractors in the field of customer service, marketing, entities authorized on the basis of legal regulations.

2. Personal data may be transferred to countries / international organizations outside the European Economic Area, when these countries / organizations, on the basis of European Commission decisions, have been recognized as ensuring an adequate level of protection of personal data to the level of protection applicable in the European Economic Area, or provided that appropriate safeguards have been applied, which may include the use of binding corporate rules, standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission, standard data protection clauses adopted by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or contractual clauses admitted by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, and copies thereof can be obtained upon an application submitted in the manner indicated in point 1 above.

 

How long will personal data be processed?

Personal data will be processed until the purpose stated in the consent is fulfilled or until the consent is withdrawn, whichever comes first, and then – for the period of limitation of claims and until the end of civil, enforcement, administrative and criminal proceedings requiring data processing.

 

What rights do you have regarding personal data?

1. You have the right to rectify data, access data, delete data, limit data processing, and transfer data provided to the Data Controller.

2. You have the right to object to data processing on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller or a third party, including profiling, for reasons related to a particular situation, and to object to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling,

3. With respect to data processed on the basis of consent – you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place prior to withdrawal of consent.

 

Where can you lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data?

A complaint regarding the processing of personal data may be submitted to the supervisory body dealing with the protection of personal data. The President of the Personal Data Protection Office is the supervisory authority in the Republic of Poland. For the processing of personal data of users of websites and portals – the Privacy Policy applies.
